Frameless Glass Balustrades
Diamond Balustrades and Fencing will custom design your Glass Balustrade only using 12mm Toughened Safety Glass manufactured and installed to Australian Standards with polished edges to ensure maximum safety and durability and providing extensive wind protection.
Due to changes in Australian Standards balustrades are now required to have a handrail of which there are several different handrail profiles and methods to which they can be fixed to glass.
Glass is Toughened Safety Glass. Glass thickness is dependant on each situation and is available in clear, tint, sandblasted and sealed or acid etched.
Site Preparation:
For side fixed frameless glass all finishes to the face of the deck should be complete including paint.
Preformed Channels are to be a minimum width of 40mm and depth of 100mm.

Fixing Method:

Installation:
Glass is measured on site during check measure. Skirts on glass can only be sandblasted and sealed, not acid etched.
